Though prescription medications are essential in employees’ health care benefits, opioids are potent, highly-addictive drugs that greatly increase workplace risks or injuries, even if taken as prescribed. NM employers know opioid painkillers may greatly increase worker disability, lower productivity, and raise the cost of healthcare.
This forum will provide employers from business, nonprofit and public entities with up-to-date information on key opioid-related workplace issues.
New Mexico Coalition for Healthcare Value members can attend free of charge with an RSVP.
